1936 Ludwig Heck and Jakob Becker found the “Modellfabrik Dautphe” (Dautphe pattern factory). Together with 8 employees they specialize in workshop equipment and repair work for the regional stove and cooker industry as well as the pattern and machine factories at Wallau.
1940 The firm’s name is changed into “Modellfabrik Heck+Becker KG” (pattern factory).
1957 Ludwig Heck dies. Vice-manager Jakob Becker becomes sole manager.
1982 Dieter Becker becomes general manager and principal of 170 employees.
1986 The corporate structure is changed into Heck+Becker GmbH & Co. KG.
1990 A brilliant coup: As the worldwide first die manufacturer, Heck+Becker GmbH & Co. KG tries out the manufactured dies in a 2500-ton casting plant.
1999 Martin Baumann becomes general manager of the family enterprise that has meanwhile become known and very successful all over the world.
2009 The power spectrum is significantly expanded by setting up a die-casting technology center.
2016 Heck+Becker, an internationally operating family-run enterprise, is celebrating their 80th company anniversary.
